What is Bushcraft?

Bushcraft is a long-term extension of survival skills. A popular term for wilderness skills in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, the term was popularised in the southern hemisphere by Les Hiddins (The Bush Tucker Man) in Australia.

Bushcraft is fast growing in popularity; including survival skills and working with natural products to make useful items such as cord, holders for pots and overnight shelters.

But if we're really honest with ourselves, it's a chance to get away from everything and spend some time in the woods...
