Kharki Putties that formed part of the British Army Uniform right up to WW2.

These simply designed Putties were used to support a soldier's ankle and lower leg. The putty is wrapped around your leg and then tied into position using the thin tie potion of the putty.

Although not used by the modern soldier these Putties are very popular with re-enactors and people looking for genuine British Army fancy dress.
